Murmuring to herself, Annie says "So, what, she was a... a fan of newspaper comics from the 1920s?"
We see Annie's computer in close-up. That zone between the keyboard and the screen. And then up-closer. A hand with poorly maintained fingernails sticks a note under the screen.
The note is a business card-sized bit of paper with an image of a dime on it. The image on the image of the dime has been aggressively crossed out, leaving an X of knife marks.
Seeing this, Annie whispers "A dime..."
Quickly, she stands up from behind the computer she was using.
There's nobody there.
