Commentary:
Welcome to ANNIE FOREVER. I'll let the comic speak for itself at first.
But have you read the announcement?
Text summary: (click to open)
Annie, holding a shopping bag, walks down a quiet urban residential street, memories haunting her: A woman at a lighthouse, swept by waves. A hand, outstretched, as a car drives away. A plane, going down amidst streaks of smoke. A man with a crystal. And central to those memories: A bald man, frowning a dark smile.
But she's able to let go. The memories are replaced by a soothing mental image, clouds parting for a view of a calm sea, birds coming up over a sun on the horizon. But behind a nearby fence, a voice: "Whistle the patter."
As Annie passes the fence, a second voice responds: "Besides my dime... I always carry a knife."
