Commentary:
Ennis, from an old, no longer online comic of mine, and his twin sister Phoenix, were gracious enough to make these guest appearances.

The bell on a shop door goes ding ding.
Annie, holding a watermelon, chats to the shopkeepers, two young green grocers, siblings, called Ennis and Phoenix. They have similar undercut mohawk-like hairstyles, though Phoenix's has a dark streak in it.
ENNIS: "Miss Annie! As I live—"
ANNIE: "Or breathe. Hi Ennis."
PHOENIX: "Where you been, Annie?"
ANNIE: "Hi Phoenix."
PHOENIX: "We missed you. :)"
ANNIE: "Oh, you know—"
But their conversation is interrupted — a young man wearing a hoodie and a beanie tumbles backwards through a nearby stack of galia melons. In front of him, a figure stands in a doorway.
