Annie Forever

"Annie!" A ginger woman in a leather jacket approaches Annie as she enters the newly very bright darkness. "It's so nice to finally meet you!"
Finding herself surrounded by a crowd of strangers, Annie asks "What-- What is this?"
"Yeah, I'm sure you have a lot of questions. First things first, I'm Aquila the Last Eagle. And this," she says, pointing at a young blonde person wearing big round glasses, earth-toned clothes, and a satchel, "is Sandie Start, Adventure Archaeologist."
Then, pointing at a very tall person in a red superhero outfit with a black cloak, and orange and black spiky hair, "This is the Incendiary, she's very tall."
"Hi," Annie says.
"Hi," the Incendiary replies.

"No, no, stop!" Annie begs, "What is all this?!"

Smiling, Aquila the Last Eagle says -- "We're the Knife and Dime! It's a sort of heroes' guild."
