Like how Friday's strip had a Sunday version, today's Sunday strip has a black and white version. It gave me a good place for today's second beat, though.

Eddie shuts the sewer behind him with a loud thunk, as Annie looks ahead frustrated.
Annie starts at him, "What the f-- What the h-- What happened to not dragging me anywhere!"
"It was an emergency, there was a clear and present danger--"
"You could have told me that! Don't take away the control I need over my—"
And then, from down the tunnel they're in "The child is right, Eddie!" The voice comes from a figure wearing a hat. "You really should not have done that!"
Meanwhile, elsewhere... The strange woman from the shop, still on a bus, is lying down on a row of seats, when a shadow approaches her...
